Purchased my first Harley in 2003, a 100th anniversary Sportster 1200C. The wife enjoyed the ride so much we decided to get an Electra Glide Classic (much better seat for the passenger) in 2004. Then she decided that driving is alot more fun than riding on the back. So she took over the drivers seat of the Sporty for a couple years. It's been a great ride ever since.

My wife, Colleen, and I, started riding Harley’s and joined the chapter in 1997. We currently have a 1998 Road King and a 2010 Ultra Limited. Over the years I have held many positions, but currently reside as the Assistant Director. I really enjoy being involved with the chapter because of all the fun opportunities for riding, the activities, and spending time with the great people that make up the Beartooth Chapter. Although I could do without all the riding in the rain (Hint to Gary and Rock).

I am a founding member of the Beartooth H.O.G. Chapter which will be 20 years old next January. I currently ride a 2004 Road Glide. I enjoy long distance "Iron Butt" rides and competed in the 2003 Iron Butt Rally.

I ride passenger, taking pictures constantly, with Dean Luptak on our 2008 Screaming Eagle Ultra Classic. In our first 3 years of riding we now have over 65,000 miles, 46 States and over 200 National Park and monuments visits. In addition to HOG Chapter rides, the HD 105th, State rallies, annual Sturgis trips, and 7 HOG Fly n’ Rides, we’ve earned eight Iron Butt certificates including multiple Saddle Sore, Bun Burner, Master Tour, and Border to Border Insanity patches. We love riding and we love our HOG friends.

I ride a 2008 Screaming Eagle Ultra Classic and a 2007 Thunder Mountain Durango chopper with a 103 Screaming Eagle engine. I’ve run out of gas on both, more than once, and now have several emergency gas cans for sale, if you need one. Getting lost on rides in North Dakota, in the metropolis of Fort Peck and in several parking lots before rides even begin are evidently qualifying prerequisites to getting appointed Chapter Road Captain in Beartooth HOG. Please join my beautiful back warmer, Lynn Davis, and I this year as we help our Chapter discover some truly exciting, little known aspects of group riding. Remember always that it’s the journey, and also that pavement is for sissies (in case we ever run out of it).
